Daniel Murray
Founder & Artistic Director
Daniel is a multimedia creator and founder of FuzzPop Workshop. Since 2022 he has developed collaborations with dozens of local creatives to develop larger-than-life immersive art experiences across the region. He was named a 2026 Creative Revolutionary by public art advocates CODAworx, and was gener8tor Art x Sherman Phoenix accelerator program fellow.
Daniel holds a degree in theater and film from UCLA and a PhD from Stanford University. He has written and directed award-winning short films, as well as university and youth theater. At Stanford, Daniel served as executive director of a racial equity research and teaching center, where he raised $8M to develop new initiatives including an arts-based juvenile justice program and fellowship programs for artists, social sector leaders, and technologists. He has developed collaborations with industry leaders including Microsoft, IBM, Google, and the Cantor Arts Center and secured major grants from the Ford and Mellon Foundations.
