Abigail Ziesemann
Contributing Artist
Abigail Ziesemann is an artist and designer based in Milwaukee, Wisconsin. She received her BFA in 2021 and began her post-collegial career as a teaching artist working with several schools and non-profits throughout the area. As a self taught seamstress, quilter, and dressmaker, Ziesemann creates vibrant new designs from rescued fabrics and scraps. In 2023, Abigail launched her slow fashion brand and digital production house Prettiest Pear. Since the establishment of her brand, she has cultivated and maintained an active commercial presence online. Always an educator at heart, she is dedicated to using her platform to provide free art and sewing resources alongside her entrepreneurial pursuits.
